Accessibility statement
Gebetsroither International GmbH strives to make its website www.gebetsroither.com accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Authorities (Web Accessibility Act – WZG). This statement is made in accordance with Section 3 of the Web Accessibility Act (WZG) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
This accessibility statement applies to the website https://www.gebetsroither.com.
Status of compliance with requirements
The website is partially compliant with the requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity level AA. There are currently still barriers that are being gradually removed.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not fully accessible for the following reasons:
- Alternative text for images: Some images and icons do not have alternative text or have insufficient alternative text.
- Form elements without labels: Some form elements are not correctly labelled, which limits their use with screen readers.
- Unlabelled controls: There are buttons on the page that do not have a programmatic name.
- Missing or incorrect ARIA attributes: Some ARIA roles and labels are not correctly implemented.
- Colour contrasts: Some texts and graphic elements do not have sufficient contrast.
- Heading structure: The hierarchical structure of the headings is not correctly implemented in some places.
These deficiencies were identified during an automated analysis using the WAVE Web Accessibility Evaluation Tool. A comprehensive manual review is still pending.
Reasons for existing barriers
Some of the existing barriers are due to technical and organisational circumstances and the use of third-party components. Full accessibility implementation currently represents a disproportionate burden within the meaning of Section 5 of the WZG. However, we strive for continuous improvement.
Planned measures
Gebetsroither International GmbH plans to gradually remove existing barriers as part of ongoing maintenance and development measures, in particular by:
- Improving alternative texts
- Correctly labelling all form fields
- Improving colour contrasts
- Optimising ARIA attributes and heading structure
