Falkencamp Döbriach am Millstättersee in Carinthia is a place where nature and adventure go hand in hand, and the lake and mountains are within reach. The campsite covers an area of 6 hectares, which consists of large meadows and areas covered with magnificent trees. There is no shortage of space for play and relaxation, as well as sports facilities. Millstätter See, a few minutes' walk away, is one of the cleanest and warmest lakes in Austria - ideal for swimming, kayaking, sailing and SUP. On the premises there is a football pitch, a campfire area, basketball and volleyball courts, table tennis, bike rental, a kiosk and a restaurant. This location is especially recommended for families with children, children's and school groups or for sports camps.
The campsite is just a 10-minute walk from Döbriach, and there are plenty of attractions in the area. Spittal an der Drau is a charming town with the beautiful Porcia Castle, cafés and a local atmosphere. The Nockberge Biosphere Park offers dozens of kilometres of trails – from easy walks to more challenging climbs. The well prepared cycle paths around Lake Millstätter See are ideal for active trips with stops for a swim or a coffee. We recommend climbing Mount Tschiernock – an easy trail with wonderful views of the lake and the Alps in the background. Sommeregg Castle is a great attraction for children and adults – a medieval atmosphere, a torture museum, knight fights and an excellent restaurant in the castle walls. The Drautal Perle Thermal Baths in Spittal and the Römerbad Thermal Baths in Bad Kleinkirchheim offer swimming pools, saunas, wellness and for children – water fun.
