Campsite Slatina is located on the western coast of the island of Cres in Croatia. Situated right next to a pebbly beach, on terraces, amidst lively Mediterranean nature, the campsite offers a many modern amenities and a well-organized area for families with children. The campsite is also known for its “Camping cum cane” program – a dog-friendly project with numerous facilities for four-legged friends, such as a dog beach, dog training and a groomer. Campsite Slatina is also regularly visited by a vet.

In the area, it is worth visiting picturesque towns such as Cres with its impressive city gate, 16th-century courthouse, medieval architecture and an interesting lapidarium. Lubenice, located on a cliff, is famous for its stone architecture and breathtaking views. Nearby is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island – Sveti Ivan. The modern tourist town of Martinšcica and the beautiful seaside resort Valun, often called the little St. Tropez are also worthy of notice. Cres offers numerous hiking and cycling trails through olive groves, oak forests and coastlines, ideal for lovers of active recreation. Natural attractions include the strictly protected Lake Vransko, hidden in the interior of the island, and the Reserve of griffon vultures - the symbol of the island. It is worth visiting the nearby island of Lošinj, known for the presence of dolphins and charming towns such as Mali Lošinj and Veli Lošinj.
